Main Types of Schools

Children of foreign nationalities may go to school in Japan just like children of Japanese nationality.
There are also special schools for children with disabilities.

PTA Activities

Schools have parent teacher associations in which parents, guardians, and teachers can be involved. These associations exist so that parents, guardians, and teachers can work together to ensure the safety of children as they walk to and from school and also engage in various activities.
