Procedures to perform at your municipal office

If you are the parent or guardian of a child of foreign nationality, please perform the following procedures at your city hall, town hall, village office or ward office:

(1) Alien registration
(2) Let a worker know that you want to send your child to school and submit the Enrollment Application for Foreign Resident Students. 

Procedures to perform at the school

(3) Take your child to the school and bring the Enrollment Permission for Foreign Resident Student received from the municipal office with you. Then, talk with your child's teacher about school life.
