【成田山　新勝寺】

成田市にある仏教寺院で成田空港から近く、約1千百年の歴史があリます。正月3ヶ日には、日本で2番目に多い300万人以上の参拝客が、毎年初詣に訪れる。
また、成田駅から新勝寺に続く表参道には古くからの町並みが連なり、うなぎを使った料理や伝統的な土産の買い物が楽しめます。

【房総のむら】

成田空港に近い栄町にある体験博物館。
昔ながらの千葉県の町並みが再現されており、甲冑や着物の試着、ものづくりの体験ができます。

Shrines and temples become crowded early in January, as people come to wish for good luck. Hatsumode is the first visit of the year to such sites. One of the most popular is Naritasan Shinshoji temple, near Narita International Airport. It welcomes 3 million visitors in just three days. Shops lining the approach sell time-honored crafts and food. Boso-no-mura, also near the airport, reproduces the lifestyle of 150 years ago. It offers tourists the opportunity to wear kimono, make traditional crafts, and play with classic toys.
