School Life (Part 3)

Breaks

Breaks between periods are used to prepare for the next class. This time can also be used to go to the restroom. It is not a time to eat snacks.

Lunch

Every school has school lunch. Everyone eats from the same menu. The menu is announced in advance each month. Let the school know if there are any foods your child cannot eat due to allergies or religious reasons.

Classmates serve the food and take it to the desks. The children wearing the white coats and hats in the picture are the ones in charge of lunch for the day. The lunch crew rotates on a weekly basis.

Everyone says "itadakimasu" together before eating.
Spoons and chopsticks are used.

Cleaning

The children clean their classroom every day. Everyone works together to clean the other areas of the school as well.
