In Chiba, where the weather is warm even in winter, spring and its flowers arrive a step early. Winter is not for snow, but for narcissus, poppy, and plum. The prefecture overflows with yellow when the nanohana bloom starting in February. As the season turns to early summer, vivid irises color our botanical gardens, and as summer turns to autumn, cosmos and roses color the land. Throughout the year, every region flourishes with flowers of every shade and hue.
The ocean that surrounds us, too, shows us different faces with each season, giving opportunities for fishing, surfing, and scuba diving, and refreshes our minds and bodies with a sharp sea breeze.
